What is/are the best compliments you have ever gotten?

Mine are:

1. When I was about 11we had a neighbours little boy who was 3 stay the night at our place. In the middle of the night he had an asthma attack so I got up, gave him the nebuliser and started calming him down. My mother heard me up, came out and asked why I hadn't woken her up. I told her because I knew what to do, I'm an asthmatic, and she hugged me and said I would make such a great mother oneday.

2. At our wedding my Aunty, who is a big big snob, came up to me and told me that our wedding was the second best she had ever been to. The first was her own. She said she hates sit down dinners and loved that we made our wedding a party. She has always looked down on my family and my cousin was married the year before so for her to say that was a huge compliment.

3. An old lady was speaking to me oneday and saying how she needed to find a phone. I offered her my mobile so she didn't have to go looking. She then told me that most young people these days were horrible to her and it was nice to know there were still nice young people in the world. It really made my day and I have never forgotten that lady. I was about 23/24 at the time.

So what are the best compliments you have ever received?

Mine was when right after I gave birth to my son my mom called me a champ and the nurses said that for my age and it being my first baby that they were very surprised at how well I did. I loved hearing that I was a pro!

one of mine was a few weeks after i gave birth i ran into my friend and she was like wow you don't even look like you had a baby.
another one was how well i did with my delivery everyone said i did good for having such a difficult time

I was asked for Id the other day...a real pain in the ass... because I dont have any but I ran off to get Joel to buy me the wine (LOL) and said to the man I am a mum of 3 and I love you LOL.... I am 27 and had just given birth to Ella so it was a great day
