I bled for 9 months straight after I had my baby. So it probably is your birth control, that's what mine was.

Well, he didn't say it was okay.. He said the reason why I was still bleeding was because I never got a follow up bc shot and that since I didn't I was still going to bleed. So he gave me bc pills to help regulate my but if I missed2 pills in a pack I would have my period till I started a new pack. OP are you taking bc pills?

My doctor told me i had endometriosis when i was about 15. i was devestated thinking i would never have kids. made me a little obsessed with it.
well, i got pregnant when i was 18 (miscarried at 10 weeks)
and i have my gorgeous son now. the bright side about that is you can never really be "diagnosed" with it, they would have to do some type of surgery totruely know if you had it.

Endometriosis is not a fertility death sentance. I have endo, I was diagnosed with it when I had my apendix out in sept. of '06. (They explored around in there and checked everything out for me whileI was under.. how sweet eh? lol) Endo is when the endometrium, or the blood and mucus that comes out when you have your period grows other places outside of the uterus. While this can make it more difficult to concieve, and there is no cure, for most women the disease can be slowed by birth control until they are ready to concieve again. It can cause major cramping during menstrual cycles, heavier bleeding, and at its worse, can lead to a woman needing a hysterectomy later on in life. If you are very concerned about this talk to your doctor and ask them to explain more as to why they think you have endo. Excessive bleeding after a delivery is not a symptom of endo, so perhaps you should be seen by another doctor who can ease your fears better. I would suggest going in.
