I just bought my second house

The market for house buying is at its all time low so i took advantage and bought my second house   I'm so excited, and stressed out. Every day I have been drinking margaritas to calm my nerves. Money wise my hubby and i can totally handle it, its jut the stress of buy the house filling out the paper work and then find some good renters to rent the house out. wish me luck 

Good Luck!! I know what you mean by the stress..  we closed on our 2nd house in Nov. of last year and it was so stressful. You will feel so much better when it's all over. And a margarita sounds good in about 5 months.

Congrats! We just bought our first house, and it's ours July 31st...I am so excited tog et in there and paint and decorate!

tell me about it. We installed all 17 windows already, but need some more work such as paint, carpet ,knocking down walls and installing new sinks........awww its stressful . Im on my 4th lime margarita mmm yummy w/ lemon + salt on the rim and a sliced lemon

I get stressed out about NOT owning a house, and knowing that I won't be able to afford one until the prices drop and I have a permanent job...by then I'll be too old to get a home loan so I'm screwed   I'd love to be stressing about a second house...

ETA that I'm sorry if I sound bitchy, I'm tired and stressed. But congratulations

What are u talking about your still so young and the possibilities are very high. You two can save up for a couple years if necessary and then bam u got yourself a house. Go to school get a good job and your future will be set.

I've been trying to find a good job for the past year, the best I could get was at a fish & chip shop getting treated like crap so I quit. Good jobs around here are as rare as cheap houses. I know I'm still young, but the way the house prices here keep increasing by the time I'm in my 30's if I get a home loan I'll be in debt for the rest of my life paying them back. That's why we're considering moving to a teeny tiny town where the prices are cheaper and buying a house there, doing it up and selling it. But even for a $200,000 loan we'd be paying back $400 a week, my partner only earns $500 so that's a no go  

Its hard, but things will fall into place at the right time .

we bought our second place in December. Got it well it is worth 325K and we got it for 295K and it looks 100% brand new. Fresh paint, fresh carpet... (sorry new carpet).

the only thing I Had to do was paint Josephine's room AND change those icky brass knobs in the kitchen (although the cabinets are new, the pervious owners didn't like to cook lol)
