Is it safe to...?

Is it safe to have sex when your dilated?? Im just wondering...Im dilated and my Doctor has said not to...I justwanted to know if it was safe..

its safe until your doctor tells you to stop.
i wouldnt recommend doing it if they told you not to........

My midwifes said it was fine tell my water broke but I was 36+ weeks and they didnt care when I went into labor because I was already way past when I had my first son. Although don't ever do it if your doctor tells you not to theres a reason and you don't want to hurt anything or risk it.

Well considering your doc told ya not to it probably would be a bad idea lol. My doctor hasn't said anything to me about sex...at all. I've had (tmi) sex like 4 times this past week, and I'm 4cm dilated and almost 38 weeks pregnant

probably not if the doc said no, even though it may suck not being able to? lol

as long as your water isn't broken. be warned...My ex and I had sex when I was 3cm and then we went to the grocery store and my water broke all over the floor while i was standing in line lol

It is always best to follow your Doctors advice, but have to admit that my hubby and I did it all the time when I was dialated with both my other pregnancies and my Dr. said it was okay until my water broke...

Probably not if your doc specifically asked you not to. They are doctors for a reason. Could be because of infection.

doctors advice or our advice?... Go with what your doctor said.
