I feel like a bad mom.

Does anyone feel like they are always trying to get their baby to go back to sleep?

I absolutley love seeing my sons lit up face and tear up when he stares into my eyes......

but ive noticed that weve been doing this. (everyone does, not just me...)

Yeah, I do. Especially at night. When she's wide awake in the day, I usually love to just talk to her and watch her. But if the same thing happens after 8pm, I'm constantly just trying to get her to fall asleep.

i was thinking this today too. my son stays awake all day long only taking a five minute nap here and there and after like 3pm all he wants to do is sleep. every time he falls asleep i just keep trying to get him to stay asleep for a while longer by patting his back and i just feel horrible but i spend every second during the day with him until he finally falls asleep like i said around 3.

the only time i want him to sleep is when he`s fussy or when im tired.
durring the day and morning hes usually pretty good with staying awake and just chilling. just wineing to eat and be held sometimes.

i find i let him take his naps durring the day but only for maybe 2 hours and then i wake him , just so he wont be too refreshed for the night time.
the only time i wish hè`d really sleep is early morning since he likes to wake up at 7 and not go back to sleep.

I love co-sleeping-I call that our little 'bonding time.' Its amazing when you look up and see them smiling and looking back at you...awwww....(I'm at work and just talking about her is making me sad.) When I come home from work I usually pick her up, sleep or not, and we take a nap together.
Now at night....LOL....thats a totally dif. story....I want rest....

I do this when Edan wakes up early. Like today. Unfortunately today I failed. I'm exhausted. I woke up and got him a bottle and warmed it up, fed him, he fell asleep for like 5 minutes. I laid him back in bed and rolled over and then I heard him making gibberish.

I only do it at night. I love her to be awake during the day!

I always feel like i'm putting my son back to sleep. He naps between each feeding time, once and a great while he'll skip between one. Each nap is only like 30 mins and very rare he might do an hour one, but without his nap he gets so cranky and fussy. He doesn't sleep after his second to last feeding of the night though and then goes to bed between 9-11 and sleeps til 7-8 in the morning. I feel bad some times for it but if i don't lay him down he'll fall asleep in my arms anyways and he loves sleeping or playing in his crib if i don't get him up right away. Without that little break though i'd probabky go crazy cause i'm the only one who watchs my son at all or does any of the taking care of him. He's so cute when he's sleeping too cause he sleeps just like me.
