Just wondering what people think of this name. I don't hear it very often, & I think it's very pretty. It's going on the list of girl names if we have another one.

I think it's gorgeous! It's on my short list as well if I ever have a girl  

I voted "just okay" mainly because I knew a dumb girl in middle school named Miriam and she would always tell everyone how she was named after her great grandma. I hate it when people ruin names for me!

Good choice! I like that it has history too, I didn't choose a name like that for my daughter & I wish I had.

Aww... yeah. That's one of the reasons I love it, plus it has a family history to it for me (all the firstborn girls on my mom's side have a dirivitive of Mary in their name).

only reason i dont like it is becuz we had a reality show over here about a bunch of guys tryin to win this "girl" over and in the end the big surprise was the girl whose name was miriam was actually a boy so even since then when i hear it i think cross-dressers...
