To the Religiously Devout...

Quoting mama3:“ Reminds me of the song " would you want to see if seeing meant that you would have to believe in things ... [snip!] ... me wonder the opposite as well, how many would want to know for a fact by seeing him, meaning that he would have to believe?”

If it could be proven to me that any religion's teachings were factually correct, I'd adjust my outlook accordingly.

Which one was written by His hand and which ones weren't?

The demographic at which this question is directed makes absolutely no sense. You asked the "religiously devout" what they would do if their religion could be proven false. To a "devout" person, their religion cannot be proven false. My grandfather is a preacher. His daughter, my aunt, belongs to a completely different religion. No matter what, her religion is true to her, even though she was brought up differently. Though she talks about her religion to my grandfather, his religion is true to him regardless of what she says.
Faith cannot be proven true or false. It just is.

If the time were to come when science was able to prove that the christian god does not exist, then it would be proven false.

Faith or not.

You cant. There is no physical way to know exactly when the earth was created and exactly how it was created. None. Science has limitations. Humans are not all-knowing and never will be. If they were, religious wars could be put to rest and religious zealots could be done away with.

As I said, "If the time were to come", meaning I realize that time is unlikely.

You are most likely correct. However, just as we cannot say that we will one day disprove God, we cannot say that we will not one day evolve the technology to be able to so.

The problem with that becomes how many gods there are that have to be disproven. You have to go down the line to each and every religion to disprove their opinion of how the world was created. My aunt believe that there are several gods, each of which created a certain part of the world and its organisms. I believe she has 22 gods. Now, try disproving that. Science or not, people will always hold on to their faiths, whether it be Christian or otherwise.

Even if there comes a time when they can be disproven?

I believe so. Religion is a fixation. It is proven that smoking can kill. People still smoke. It is proven that women are not inferior mentally, some men still treat them as though they are. So many things have been proven, but it is up to the individual to accept the information as true or false. They can believe that science is false just the same as you can accept that religion is false simply by closing their ears. There are so many examples of this right now in all religions.
