1. im going to california next weekand
my son will be almost 9 weeks
its gonan be about a 12/13 hour car ride
is it safe??? of course ill be stopping to feed and change smelly diapers

2. around how many months can you put them in the stroller with out the carseat in there ((if that makes sense))

3. im giving BFing another shot   i still have a lot of milk it seems but im jsut not sure, should i still take fenugreek and try and get the milk really flowing **edit to add. . . . I REFUSE TO PUMP

4. i had to push his appointment back for his 2 month shots and code-ass is freaking out that he will be traveling w/out his shots. . . should i be worried as well??

5. not a question BUT im happy to say IM NOT PREGNAT

yay! take fenugreek.. do whatever. breastfeed! i know you can do it.

my baby girl just turned 11 wks yesturday and that was the first time she rode in the stroller w/o the carseat. Just make sure he can hold his head up real good.
About the shots, i would just call and ask his dr, but im sure it would be ok.
Oh I feel you on not being pregnant. Ive been scared all week b/c my monthly friend hasnt came yet, so I went and got a test and yes not pregnant! lol

You may have to stop alot or he might sleep most of the time, its safe... or ask your pedi.

when they can sit up on their own you can use the stroller without the carseat, recommended. I use it without... I just have her laying down. It's so much easier.

about BF.. just try it first to see what happens.. although i'm not sure what fenugreek is..

and WOOOW I don't think 6 was exactly necessary, but congrats! ...did you wanna get pregnant 9 weeks PP? I would probably need to take a huge breath lol but if you did then congrats! lol

Yay at not being Pregnant and bfing. lol at refusing to pump. It's bad isn't it?

1. yea it is safe as long as you do the necessities and take a break every once in a while.
2. if it lays back, it should be safe enough to put him in now.
3.i stopped bfing for a week and started back up, and my milk is flowing just fine now....if u still have milk in there, just keep putting him to your breast at EVERY feeding b4 you give him the bottle, and it will build your supply back up and you shouldn't need to take anything if u do that.
4.he should have his 1st hep b shot already...so he should be fine..
5...yay!! good for you..now just becareful not to do that again..lol

1. we took a 9 hour trip with lylian at 7 weeks and she was fine. but the trip ended up takign 13 hours with the stops and traffic. hopefully your trip goes better than ours. she got all out of whack from being in the car so long. she was al distraught and her schedule was way off, and still hasnt went back to normal 6 almost 7 months later.

2. it depends on your stroller. if it lays back pretty far i think theyd be ok, but most srollers they have to be able to kind of sit up or else they might not be comfortable because they'll keep tipping to the side. and also the straps wont get tight enough either. so just try it, thats all you can do, and see if you are comfortable with it.

3 yes take fenugreek if it is helping. and DEFINITLY try bfing again   its sooo worth the try!! just make sure with the fenugreek you're drinking enough to not get dehydrated, because i have hurt my supply using that stuff from dehydration.

4. i didnt have lylians 2 month shots when we went on our vaycay, so i think it will be ok   we were supposed to get them done while on vaycay as well, so i pushed it back until after our trip.

5.YAY for not being preg again!! anywho, have a great trip!

lol. 2 words for me...... EVERY DAY.   I have to use nipple shields now because it wrecked my nipples so bad.

we have been told that babies arent supposed to spend longer than 2 hours in a carseat.... i dont know how true it is but it was a midwife at the hosp. that let us know   .... kepp going with the BF a whole lot cheaper and easier than formula.... Ella took a while to get the hang of it... I am sure it has something to do witht he c-section but I pumped until she was ready (my boobs hurt so much when she wouldnt feed)... I know you dont want to but hopefully the milk will come in and your little man will takle straight back to it.... heres a link with some info about babies in car seats.... have a great time away... so jelous LOL

lol Why not?  What happened?  I have been pumping every 3 hrs since Nathan was born.  It SUCKED the first 3 weeks or so

1. the car ride should be fine but also give him adequate time to stretch his little limbs and such

2. whenever he seems to "fit" properly in the strooler it should be fine. you might want to put a neck support or something in there to help.

3.just start bf'ing. you'll be able to tell if you need the extra help of fenugreek or not.

4. my son is almost 8 months and hasn't had any shots. there's no reason to worry about pushing them back a little.

i dont blame you.. if kaleb latched on i would have kept up w/ bfing.. but pumping.. i swear i was attached to a machine 24/7!!

Ive been putting AJ in the stroller w/out the carseat for a long time since she was 2 months old. she does good with it   I just layed the seat back and buckled her in tight once she was 3 months old and could sit up by herself I sat the seat up all the way.

I moved from Hemet CA to Las Vegas with Logan when he was 7 weeks old it's only a 4 hour car drive but he slept the ENTIRE way,I think your son will be fine he might sleep pretty much the whole way
