my last question for the night!!!

Do you ladies think it would be bad for my baby at all if I smoked 1 cig?

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant, and SUPER stressed right now

ok let me just make it clear that im not an advocate for smoking in pregnancy but i smoked through the whole preg with my last child because i was severly stressed out and couldnt quit and she came out healthy and 7 lbs 2 oz so as much crap as i got it didnt bother her at all. i also breastfed her while still smoking. i quit when she was 5 mo

I wouldn't do it... try maybe having something else... maybe a soda or eating a small snack... I'm sorry you are stressed... try a hot bath or shower something to relax you... call someone if you have to... Hope things get better.

I honestly doubt one cig will do anything harmful. A lot of people smoke throughout their entire pregnancy and everything is fine. However, you have gone this long so I think you should try not to cave in. This is what I always do when I'm stressed. Turn the shower on and lay down in the tub. It is so relaxing!

But,It'snot true for EVERY pregnancy.I didn't smoke my mom did and I was living here I got second hand smoke WHEN I was here which wasn't much.My son was IUGR due to it born premature & weighed 4lbs. Yes he's healthy BUT if I didn't inhale the smoke.My son wouldn't have been premature or weighing in at 4lbs.

Dont do it!! its not worth it. Youll just end up regretting it and it will prob make you sick. Try hot tea or candy
