re: my last question for the night!!!

I quit while I was pregnant and when they told me at my 39th week appt that I still had at least another 2-3 weeks to go, I almost caved in. What kept me from smoking is seeing a picture of my baby in my belly gasping for air just cause I wanted a cig....silly I know but yeah

hang in there! not toooo much longer!

and its hard to tell if it would hurt the baby or not, since you quit except for the one or two, your baby isnt used to it, so it might be just as bad as if you smoked the whole way through

Hehe dont worry i know how you feel only a few more weeks and it may work again  

I know it is easier said then done but try to think of other ways to deal with the stress if you can. Walking, singing, maybe you can have your love one give you a massage.

yeah they can go wrong either way but they are more likey li to go wrong if you smoke during pregnancy. It is bad for the baby it has been proven time and time again. I personally dont believe in the whole not being able to quit bs, i smoked for 4 years b4 i got preggo, a pack and a half a day and I quit the day i found out i was prego. I was going through problems with my husband (we had started divorce procedings) i moved back in with my parents who treated me like i was 5 and I was going to college. All very stressful but i managed to give it up for my baby. I just hate when people use the excuse i was too stressed to quit or my firned did and her baby was fine. Well some people smoke crack and their kids are fine doesnt mean its not bad for them

lol its because of my "loved one" who has been gone since yesterday morning that I am stressed!! He was supposed to come home last night but then said he wasnt going to and now it is 9pm and he isnt answering.... Stupid but stressful!

well congrats for quiting and dealing with stress but like every preg is diff so is every woman and i did what i had to do so that i could take care of my other 2 kids without taking out my stress on them. my son was a premmie and i did nothing wrong but the child i smoked with for 9 mo was born 3 days b4 her due date and VERY healthy so you can only do so much. in the end your decisions are yours and yours only. thanks for your input anyway

Andrew's sleeping already, he has to work at 3am. Aydin is sleeping too! I just have to wait until he eats next then I can go to bed!

I know that, but what I am thinking is if it calms me down, is it better or worseto smoke one cig then be stressed the whole night...

Lucky you... I took a nap earlier and doubt that I will get to sleep anytime soon now....
