Im going to have this put in when i have my period again, can anybody share some experiences with it?

my husbands ex had it and he said he could feel it during sex but i decided to get my tubes tied after this so im done experimenting with bc

My sister has the mirena and loves it..

im getting it put in 6 weeks after i have my little girl. that way i dont get pregnant again when my husband comes back.

I've had it twice. I had it after I gave birth to my second child. We had it removed 2 1/2 years later to conceive a third baby. It took only a month to become pregnant after removing it. After my 3rd I had another inserted.
I've never had any problems with them. And I've heard from nurses and such that they're more effective than a tubal.

I don't remember`getting mine put in. My dr gave me a xanax and 2 vicodin to take before the procedure and I took it 30 minutes before my appointment, I remember going to my appointment but don't remember going home or how I got up the flight of stairs to my apartment. I'm assuming my hubby carried me cuz thats the only way I could have gotten up there. I don't remember anything else from the rest of that day either lmao. I was crampy the next day but it wasn't really bad.

  I got pregnant w/ the Mirena.   I hope that isn't the case cuz I had my tubes tied after I had Georgia

it is more effective than a tubal...i was gonna get a tubal but chickened out cause i didn't want the epi and they wouldn't put me out for it..but the mirena is 99.9% effective and the paragard (which i get on the 18th) is 99.4% , the same as a tubal.

I guess I'm pretty screwed then. I got pregnant while I had the mirena in and now have a beautiful 9 month old daughter. I'm gonna get pregnant again?!!? I feel like I'm gonna throw up

nah..i bet it was cause of the hormones..they don't work for everyone..so maybe the tubal is what u needed to work...

lol..yea i don't do good w/ hormones..i don't get preggo on em', but they mess me all up..like i grow hair on my face and stuff..lol..but they can't be good so i'm gonna get the paragard, if i somehow get preggo on that, i'm gonna get a hysterectomy!!...
