Morgan is 11 days old today, and she is on the similac formula (powder)
She is my second child, so i do have some experience but every baby is different
well my question is...is it normal that today she wanted to eat every 2 hours or so?? she has been drinking 2-2.5 ounces at each feeding...but at night she's been going longer, 4-5hrs and then waking up to eat...just wanted some advice on her feeding, and if this is o.k.??? thanks a lot!

they go through growth spurts at around 7-10 days and cluster feed. So yea it's normal.

That sounds perfectly okay to me. In my childbirth classes they said 2oz and that they will go thru spurts of being more hungry, as long as she is pooping.

Yeah I have heard the growth spurts usually occur 3 and 6 weeks and 3 and 6 months. But of course not exactly on that time frame! Also, I think they subconsiously eat more often for a bit to get the breast to produce more as they grow (so if they are eating formula - they don't know the difference).
