Ever broke a toe?

What was it like? How long did it take to bruise?

I was trying to put the carseat in the car tonight and my foot slipped and jammed into something under the drivers seat. It hurts like hell now (it happened 3 hrs ago) and I can't really walk on it. Its not bruising yet though.

i broke all four (not my baby toe) and shocked the tendons on the top of my foot. my foot was blue almost instantly. It was horrible. I kicked a radiator on accident. =[

Do you think I just jammed it? My sister said hers bruised overnight. I really hope I didn't break it because there is nothing you can really do  

Yea i broke 3 at once. Bit of advice never kick a ball when its next to a brick wall. I have no idea how long they took to bruise because i didnt take my shoe off but it hurt like hell

everytime ive broke mine (which has happened ALOT) it hurt like hell for like months...but with mine i would get blood under my toenail (its nasty lookin) and then the toenail would have to be cut off...mine didnt really bruise that bad...but if its still hurtin, u either jammed it or broke it....

Uh yeah! haha ouch!

I fell against a brick wall once while on a bike, and to prevent myself from falling I stuck my hand out. I ended up falling and dragging my nail down the wall...yeah it ripped it off.

I cracked mine clean in half. That was pretty gross, I could feel it seperate when I walked. It didn't bruise up right away (I can't remember how long though, it was several years ago) but when it did it was pretty bad, and swollen all the way up into my ankle.

It wasn't actually my toe though, it was a bone in my foot. You're right, it sucked though because they couldn't do anything for it.

You just made my toe hurt worse

I dropped a paint can on my foot and it bruised I believe the next day and I could hardly walk. I can't remember how long it took to heal that was ten years ago

I've borken all of my toes at some point or another! All bruised fairly quickly! Not being able to walk on it of course is a sign that it's broken, swelling. and quick bruising! You may have just jammed it but I am no doctor! lol

when I broke mine my whole foot swelled up soooo big! I couldn't put any pressure on my foot at all! You probably just sprained it
