So much spit up!

Ever since yesterday evening my 5week old daughter has been spitting up much more often after each feeding, I do breastfeed, btw. She has also been fussier than usual. I am not sure why she has been spitting up so much! I know spitting up is ok, but she doesn't usually spit up so much!
Does anyone know what it could be, or have any suggestions?
I have not been eating anything different, we did go to the movies yesterday and I had lots of popcorn....could that have affected her?

Could be that...because its not just during pregnancy that you watch what you eat. Its during the time you are breastfeeding too. Also, it could be bad case of reflux...Try to elevate her upper torso (slightly) after feeding or carry her upright to avoid reflux...Those are the only things I can think of.

thanks, yeah I figure the extra fussiness might mean something also.

I had the same problem, (coincidently) around the same age! She is breast fed too so when she threw up two times in a row I got really worried. So I took her to her pedi and the doc said that since she didn't have a fever and her stool was the same then it probably WAS something i ate. She hasn't done it since (that was about 3 weeks ago)
