wow, that sucks!!! lots of labor dust your way so that you don't have to wait super long!!!!

I have midwifes too and they won't check me. I feel like labor will never happen and have no idea how close it is either, urgh!

I have a regular doctor so I guess they just like to be all up in my vagina's business. lol

I have a normal doctor and he doesn't check. And if he does he doesn't tell me. I'm 40 weeks and have no clue if I'm dialated.  

Yup I am in the same boat. I am 36 weeks. but my doc wants to induce at 38 or 39 weeks. But baby is bigger than she should be, but she is still way up in my upper belly (thats where i fell all the kicks) and i am not dialted at all.. i go to the doc again on monday, maybe ill get some sort of good news, but I am soooo ready!

I was a cm dialted and 50% effaced , and his head was as low as it could go on Wednesday. Ive been walking like crazy since then. I lost my mucus plug last night/this morning...and i am miserable. My lower back and upper thigh/bikini line area feels like someone beat me up, i can barely walk. Ive been really crabby and emotional today  . Hopefully he'll be here soon.

Oh, I so hear you! I was put on bedrest and terbutaline at 27 weeks. I am dilated to 3 and 70% effaced, but the contractions have completely stopped now. I feel like I spent 9 weeks trying so hard to keep them from happening and now when I actually want something to start working, it stops. At least my cervix has changed....if not, I would really feel miserable. I just can't wait to have this baby out! I'm hoping for a little more progress at my appointment Tuesday. Guess we'll see!

aww you poor thing. I hope so, for your sake. I have that aching feeling too in my groin, its awful and makes me waddle even more than the belly

Yea, its not fun...and the bf just doesnt get it...ugh. I just need a good nights sleep...but i know thats not gonna happen. Sorry for being so negative. Just one of thos darned days.

Men could never handle this I swear. (and i'm not the type of woman that would have ever have said that either, until now 9 and 1/2 months pregnant.) lol. Yeah sleep would be nice, bending over, seeing my vagina without a mirror, my boobs not hurting, no heartburn or back pain, hmmm the list could go on and on. I'm either happy or negative as hell it depends on the hour. Don't worry about it.
