re: when can a baby eat chocolate

ava had some brownies two weeks ago and her poop after burned her skin. she had blisters and was uncontrollably crying for a good 20 min while we put tenactin on it it went away in just afew hours. needless to say she wont be having anymore choco.
nothing else was dif about what she was eating.
poor thing.

but if its just a swirl then i bet shes ok!

Ryleigh has been having chocolate for quite some time. I just can't say no to her when she gives me those sad eyes. lol. She loves chocolate and has had no reactions to it at all. For her birthday we had a white cake though because I knew she would eat a lot of it and I didn't want her to have a tummy ache later on! I'd say go for it lady...chocolate is just fine for a one year old!
