Does anyone have any ideas for neat baby shower games and possibly party favors??? Let me know and thank you!!!

I made up a "baby fear factor" game. It was a while ago, but I'll try to remember....

We did teams of 2 (when people came in, they got name tags with stickers on them - hearts and stars - when we played the hearts were "mommies" and the stars were "babies") Round 1 - teams had to answer questions about mom, highest scoring team (do a tie breaker if you have to) got to choose there "mystery jar" of baby foodand assign one to each team. Round 2 - "moms" had to feed babies the whole jar of food (blind folded if you want). First 3 teams finsihed went on to the next round. Round 3 - moms had to diaper the babies with a roll of toliet paper and tape - and it had to stay on! Then, hold a sippy cup of water while "baby" drank the whole thing. Then sit and rock their baby on their laps while singing "rock a bye baby". Lay them down and run to the phone. First person there won.

do you have a specific theme for your nursery? mine is alice in wonderland so we had a baby shower tea party, with decks of cards, swirly funky pacifiers lollipops etc. i had a little dessert table that had little labels that said "eat me" nd my beverage counter had labels that said "drink me" and just other litle things that tied in the book and movie versions of alice in wonderland.. so my suggestion would be to get a theme (carebears, boats,jungle, winnie the pooh) and go with little favors and decorations accordingly...

games we did pin the diaper on the baby
guess the baby.. (because my shower was 90% family members we had baby pictures and everyone had to guess who was who)
and we did this one game where it was candy bar names that had to be matched with different baby and delivery terms... (examples: mike & ike candy was matched with twin boys or 100 grand bars were matched with hospital bill, etc.) if i can find the sheet i will send a link

i also had a diaper raffle which was awesome! i ended up with about a 9 month supply of diapers all different sizes!

Oh! Another one is when you put stuff in diapers and people have to figure out what it is (I used jams, mustards, bbq sauce, PB, all kinds of things - with bonus points if they could guess brand names). Another fun one is where you blow up different sizes and shapes of balloons and see how many people can jam in there shirt - it was really entertaining! We also did one where as you set a timer and open the gifts - when the timer goes off, whomevers gift you are opening, they get a prize. Sorry, been to A LOT of showers.

A game you can play during the entire shower and even while playing others....

You can pick up some plastic baby colored clothes pins at a party store.

Everyone gets one as they come in and pins it to their shirt.

Through out the party if anyone is caugth crossing their legs when sitting, the person who caught them gets to take their pin and put it with their own. (The idea is that usually when the mommy to be is this far along, they can't cross them because of the belly or their feet swell it if they can cross the legs, so no one else should be able to do it.) This goes on through the entire shower, and at the end of it, whoever has the most pins, gets a prize.

You can even make sure the prize is something that can be used for a baby and the person winning, can "gift" it to the mommy to be. Or you can just make it something as simple as a Starbucks card, etc...

WOW guys...these are great ideas......I had a question about the diaper raffle....how does that work??? And I like the idea of not being able to cross your legs...cuz not being able to say "baby" was getting old. Also, I had found 2 games that I thought were cute and I wanna know what you think....One is "Name that baby tune"where you pick songs that have the word "baby" in the title and you play the first few seconds of each song and guests have to try to guess the name of the song and bonus points if they guess the singer....Then I found one where you pick like 8 television families and they have to guess the children of the family...like the would have to name all the kids in the Brady Bunch. They sound fun to me but I am also easily entertained so I wanna know what you guys think....
