Breast Milk Question

How long is breast milk still good for after you take it out of the fridge and put it into your diaper bag??? i have a spot that is insulated, but no cold pack. how long is milk good for that has not been touched by the baby yet and pulled out of the fridge, pumped yesterday? Thanks!!!

I think its only good for an hour out of the fridge if its not kept cold with a cold pack...I could be wrong but I think its an hour.

i would think 4 hours at minimum.

La leche League says either 8 or 10.
So I'd say 8.
I never trusted more than 8...

Lily was always fine.

All other foods are safe a room temperature for up to 4 hours, so this would be my guess on breastmilk too.

8 hours if stored at room temp.
