I don't believe it is race..I think it has to do with money and economic status.

Yes, that annoys the hell out of me.  A few people have called me racist and it really makes me mad.

I think it has to do with the persons situation.....

Like Lacy Peterson an 9 month pregnantwoman, went missing on Christmas Day, (or eve I cant remember) I think it is all about headlines, and the more dramatic or tragic the situation the more attention the story will get.

Another EX, Mr. Bell. Gunned down the night before his wedding.

I think money does play a part, but mostly I believe that the more headline gripping, tragic, horrific the more exposure the story will get.

Lacey Peterson lived down a couple streets from me. She was a substitute teacher for my husband in middle school. The circumstances there, was she was pregnant...8 months pregnant, and that's tragic. She wasn't rich by any means, not poor...just comfortable. I think Lacey Peterson is a poor arguement for the "money" point. I think it has to do with money and social status, but Lacey Peterson is not the person to bring up in the money situation.
