ladies who have had a cevical biopsy

i had a biopsy done on thursday and just know i had a ton of dark brown muscosy discharge and some clots.. is this normal ??

I had the same problem when I had mine. It is normal to have discharge as long as it isn't a green mucas and have a bad smell.

thank u , my doctor was chinese and really hard to understand.. i didn't want to go in for nothing

Did they use the coagulant?

Yep, that'd be it. I just wanted to check because that's what caused my discharge to be way not normal. Mine ranged anywhere from a mustard-y yellow to brown and black and everything in between. Totally normal, just keep an eye on the smell and if it starts to hurt more than a Tylenol can kill, call your doc.

Did your doc give you a pad or somethin after the appointment? It sucks...but it's normal. Just a pain in the ass...er..well..if you're techincal, a pain in the vag. lol.

Its very normal. They use this solution called Monsels and its really gross and comes out as a brown nasty looking chunky discharge   It helps stop the bleeding.

He gave me a pad and said spotting would be normal.. But i wasn't sure about all the rest of the stuff.
