Quoting Cassie's Taxi:“ Sounds like a plan. I hope Cassie makes the adjustment well. Our little babies are getting so big. Makes me happy and sad too. Thx girls!”ailey loved the bigger seat, i had no problems with the transition, good luck mama
Quoting Cassie's Taxi:“ Sounds like a plan. I hope Cassie makes the adjustment well. Our little babies are getting so big. Makes me happy and sad too. Thx girls!”Gabriel made the adjustment pretty well, he loves all the new space he has! The only problem is the carseat is HUGE and hubby's car is on the littler side.
Quoting Mak's Mama:“ I agree. We were told we can only have Makenna in the newborn carrier seat (one that comes with a travel system) until she was 6months.”Even if it's a convertible seat? Nathan has been in the convertible seat, rear facing, since he was about 3 months old. I hated the infant carrier

Quoting Mommy of a giggler!:“ We moved Kieran at 3 months as well. I couldn't carry it anymore! He was 12.5 lbs (and 27 inches), plus ... [snip!] ... easier to get him into the convertiable seat rear facing then to leave the carrier in the car and keep taking him out of that.”
Quoting Sammie Jay©:“ Get a convertible carseat, but keep her rear facing. Most convertible carseats go from 5lbs-about 40-50lbs. ... [snip!] ... Advance DLX. I LOVE IT!http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2734224 We put Gabriel in it about a month ago.”I am so glad you like that one, because I just ordered that for Robbie! Hopefully it fits in the back of my Focus.
Quoting mamacj:“ I am so glad you like that one, because I just ordered that for Robbie! Hopefully it fits in the back ... [snip!] ... I am sure it is safer than seating him in a seat that is too small for him, even though he did not reach the weight limit.”I have that same seat and it fits in my focus. I love this seat. I had 2 other seats before this one hated them both. Which seat did you have that you hate. You can see a picture of my daughter in hers in my about me.

The seat I have now wouldn't for some reason and so it had to be installed on one side or the other. The one I have now is a Safety 1st model, I forget the model name. It is black and grey though, and I hate it! It doesn't really fit in my car right, so it is not entirely level and it doesn't recline nearly enough so I always feel like my son is uncomfortable in it. I had it checked by a car seat specialist and he said it was safe but I still hate it. It'll be going in my husbands truck when the Triumph comes in.

Quoting darlenesmommy..:“ I put it in the middle seat. This one is very easy to install and use. The recline is very nice. Is this the seat you had. http://www.safety1st.com/product/detail.asp?ID=2730”Mine is exactly like that except I don't think it has a cup holder. It is a crappy seat for a younger baby, though I think it'll be okay when he gets older. That's why we're putting it in my husband's truck because Robbie rarely rides with him.
