I'm sorry, he is giving you a "free pass" because he wants one, I guarantee it. Like high stakes willing to bet on it. You are 18 and he is 23...in 10 years, hell in 5 years you will look back on this and understand exactly what everyone is saying. I know "age is just a number" and all that but life experience is quite another thing. And that is where this comes into play. If you are still at the point in your life that you need to "test" your partner then you sure as heck are not ready to be TTC with this boy. (YES BOY) I don't care how many sexual partners you have had, you obviously have no clue what it takes to make a lasting relationship yet. Nor should you, you are 18......you are just getting to the point in your life that you would be learning this. I'm not saying you should break up with him or whatever, I would just be very leery of making a commitment as big as bringing a child into the world with a person that doesn't care if you share your body with other men. And I HIGHLY suggest protection yourself when he returns with condoms till you see a clean bill of health from him.

What is a National Guard cadet? I've never even heard of that.
