So my bf snores SOOO freakin loud! What can he do to quiet it down?? He uses the breathing strips and the spray on his tongue. But its not enough. OMG i wish i had a recording of it to post with this. It is SO loud.

He is only 23 years old. He is over weight, but he has been losing alot. I have even caught him in the middle of the night not breathing! Its scary cuz he travels for work and im not always there to shake him.

I have been telling him that he needs to go to the doctor but he says he doesnt have time with work and he also says that he knows the doctor will say its his weight. He hasnt been to the doctor for probably years. Oh well actually he did go to the doctor recently to the ER for a BAD cold.

Any ideas on how to quiet the snoring? to get him to the doctor? Is anybody else going through or have gone thoughthis? HELP!!! When we do have the weekends together, we have to sleep in separate rooms!

it sounds like he needs to spend the night in a sleep clinic to diagnose sleep apnea. He'd end up wearing a mask that blows air in his nose or mouth (idr which...) but he'd be on a monitor too that would wake him if he'd stop breathing.

it would help a lot though. poor guy. its not good for you to snore like that, you dont get as much air when your sleeping when your overweight (because of neck and chest fat) no joke...

Yah thats what i told him. but he has dumb excuses to not go.

6years ago he was skin n bones. We were together for 2 years and i got a lil bit of meat on those bones. Then we broke up for 3 years and he became an alcoholic and gained so much weight. Now we are back together ands he is losing alot of it.

my hubby is the same way some times.it hasn't been too bad lateley *knock on wood* maybe I'm too exhausted to notice. He's tried everything at the store. He says the strips help his breathing but, refuses to go to the dr. about it. IDK what else to suggest.

Why are guys so difficult when it comes to going to the doctor?! UGH!
He really need to see one. It is horrible! I wasasking him the other day what we are going to do when the baby is here?? My daughtrer is almost 4 so it doesnt bother her. But will it bother the baby? Will he hear the baby wake up?

He is SUCH a heavy sleeper and that scares the crap outa me with having the new baby.

I was just thinking earlier that he wont even be able to stay in the hospital with me. He will have to go home and sleep every night.

He must not be as bad as my guy. People in other rooms can hear him. If one of us sleeps on the couch and the other down the hall in the room, i can still hear him.
I know that it is going to be a problem at the hospital when the baby is born.
