i got in the car and he was like "you look really pretty...i can tell you tried"

he thought he was being sweet. 

sorrry i just realized this has nothing to do with pregnancy

My SO was like that when we first started dating, except his way of telling me I looked pretty was "Why are you so dressed up?". I kept getting annoyed until I told him it annoyed me and he told me it ment I looked pretty

it sucks though because of all the pregnancy hormones i've turned into a real witch when it actually happens. i hate the hormones =(
