i meant your leg pops up not due to the pain its due to your reflexes, and if you feel it.. thats due to your nerves.. which are fully developed unlike a fetus

ok here is a religious website admitting to the fact they develop the ability to feel pain later on in pregnancy:

Im sorry but screw the religious web site - go to a real web site with real facts. Look up when the nervous system starts to delevop... I am not gainst anyones religion..but with cold hard facts.. you can not trust ANY religious site.

Which States - growth of nervous system ( in nervous system, human: Prenatal and postnatal development of the human nervous system )
Almost all nerve cells, or neurons, are generated during prenatal life, and in most cases they are not replaced by new neurons thereafter. Morphologically, the nervous system first appears about 18 days after conception, with the genesis of a neural plate. Functionally, it appears with the first sign of a reflex activity during the second prenatal month, when stimulation by touch of the upper...

No body knows that question really. I honestly think they do, if they hear a gun shot they jump as a little kid does. if there was nothing there they wouldn't be sucking their thumb, learning to drink the fluid and flush it out and so on. Only you can make the choice which is best for you, but your going to have people say Yes they can and No they can't... Maybe ask your dr. to draw blood from the baby inside the womb and watch it on a monitor, that may help make your mind up

My neighbor had twin boys at 23 weeks, one ended up dying, but the other lived. He could feel pain and he was only 23 weeks along when he was born. Just because the baby pops its head out of the vagina doesn't mean DINGDING I can now feel pain, I can now open and close my eyes, I can now suck my thumb, I can now move around. Development happens through out pregnancy, during the last trimester it is finishing off the last stuff and gaining fat. Otherwise why wouldn't the heartbeat at the end of pregnancy instead of the beginning?

A fetus can feel pain, but not until the pain receptors are hooked up and functioning in the brain. Exactly when this happens is a point of contention for everyone involved in this debate (medically). It's generally accepted that they definitely cannot feel pain before seven weeks, approximately, and that the receptors are hooked up by the time they are viable, but no one can agree on at which point between the two the fetus gains the ability to feel pain.

Heh, trust me, religioustolerance.org is not your typical religious website. You can trust any information that you can find on it, it's thoroughly fact checked, and not biased.

I just thought I would chirp in on crying fetuses... hehe

Alessandra looking pouty at 32weeks:

From pouty to:
**note** it looks like a tear rolling down her cheek lol

I had gone nuts and gotten into a fight with my bf before the ultrasound. Even after I calmed down her heartrate was still over 200!!!!! Poor little thing I Felt horrable.

I personally think that since there is a baby that has survived after being born at 21weeks that abortion should be completly outlawed after 20weeks. These super premies can obviously feel things after being born so who knows really when they can fully sence pain and touch. Most studies are done by people with an agenda or certian funding which can alter the outcome of course.
