Exploding Breasts!
posted 4th Jul
I cant go anywhere for more then 3 hours without feeling like my boobs are going to explode with pressure from the milk! I'm going with my fiance tomorrow to see a musical and we will probably be gone 4 or 5 hours and I cant bring a pump with! I'm afraid my breasts are going to be squirting milk all of the theater! Anyone else share this problem?

Bring extra pads and excuse yourself for a couple of minutes and hand express some of it out in the bath room! it will relive the pressure !
Or you could get a small hand pump and stick in in your purse and take a 5 minute break in the ladies room!

do you have any nursing pads you could wear in your bra? that's what I do, or else my shirt gets covered with milk lol

I will definatly bring extra pads. I'm worried about pumping during like an intermission because as you guys know, the ladies room usually has a long line at shows. Sometime I will pump a bottle to have family feed him, but at the same time I dread skipping a feeding because the pressure is SO intense!

The first week after my baby was born, I felt like that.. I had to pump once a day... I was producing more milk than she was consuming... (I never had to do that with my first baby!)\
I have a medela pump n style... it is in a discreet bag... to expensive to use for just one night... but go to target or walmart, you can get a small pump to relieve yourself...
My daughter is sleeping longer stretches at night and the first time she slept for 4 hours in a row, I woke up after 3 because my boobs were going to fall off... seriously! I had to resist the urge to wake her up to feed her, because I want her to learn to sleep through the night... unfortunately my pump was in her room & I didn't want to risk waking her by getting it...

Try and get as much out as you can before you go.
