How dilated/effaced is everyone??

Just wondering how everyones coming along.

35w 5d 1cm dilated (don't know about effacement)

I am 38 weeks and 2cm 70% effaced. And ready to get this over with!!

at my last appointment i wasn't dialated, that was about 2 weeks ago. my cervix did start to thin though. and my next appointment is on tuesday  hopefully i already started.

Im 39 weeks today... At my appt wednesday I was 3 almost 4cm dilated and 90% effaced... this is my first little one so Im hoping he decides to come a few days early! 

Im going on 37 wks with only a fingertip dilated, and my cervix is softening.

i dont know. everyone who sees me tells me he did, and he does look alot lower and i can feel more pressure but i'am not sure exactly. probably he did.

My next appt. is Tuesday too!! Let me know what they say. i'm hoping to be at a 2 or 3!

I am 39weeks exactly - 3cm dilated and fully effaced with a "very loose" cervix, I don't know what position the baby's head is at but he is right there. (I can feel him with my finger...TMI I'm sure...lol) Just waiting I've been dilated to 3cm for over two weeks now. So we'll see if he comes on his own this weekend or gets evicted on monday morning  

**EDIT** to say I wasn't trying to feel the head it's just right there, my husband pointed it out the last time we had sex...lol

thats probabyl good. I'm too curious to not find out but then I think we all over analyze it adn in reality it doesn't mean anything. At least not unless you are over 4 or 5 cm.

I'm 31 weeks and 6 days and I'm 75% effaced and 1cm dilated.

That's not good if you go into early labor, at 36 weeks you're fine but if you had started early she wouldn't know

Most docs don't start checking before 35-37 weeks. I don't know any who do anyway. Mine just started at 35 weeks. I suppose if you had already had pre-term labor then there would be a reason to check.
