LOL That sounds familiar! My hubby is the same way, if he isn't looking at new games he is looking at parts to buy! lol Don't let me start with WOW! He is always on that game or on the website, its freaking aggrivating.

but oh I love him so much........

I know how you feel...my SO buys a Sony 3 game AT LEAST once a fortnight, and they're about $100. Then he decided he was going to buy a computer because he closed his savings account which had $3000 in it. So he bought the computer, and I'm fine with that because he really wants to get into game development and needs a fast computer for that. But it really pissed me off when we were shopping and I wanted to get some baby stuff and he said "Okay, but nothing over $25". And then he went and bought ANOTHER PS3 game...I'm unemployed and get about $100 a fortnight from the government, but that goes straight to rent & bills so I pretty much live off of his money. But he made up for it the other day after he bought the computer. We went and bought a mattress for the cot, a baby bath, a play mat and some clothes.

I just keep reminding myself that pretty soon neither of us will be able to indulge in these kind of things, so I keep telling him that once the baby is here he'll have to stop wasting so much money but for now I just let him enjoy it.

And men always complain about women spending money   At least we spend money on useful things, like things for the house that everybody can use

That changes it a bit then, I can see why you'd be pissed. My SO and I have been budgeting from one income so we know how much we can blow. But since you're both used to two incomes he should really be careful about where the money goes.

I would send it all back. No joke.

And I'd tell him if he wants the desktop then he needs to sell his laptop first. It's one or the other...he can't have 2 computers to himself. It's too much. Esp being down to 1 pay check.

desktops can hold better a/v boards and motherboards...so it can handle games better than laptops.
