I'm sorry that happened to you . I'm sure it was very frustrating not to do what you wanted to.

Lacey- I will be having my second c-section as well, and my Dh will be at home with my son too.

I plan to keep my daughter in my room at all times- unless they really need to take her for something. I plan to nurse on demand. But I love the hospital pacifier...so if she likes it, she can use it. My son didn't use them, but if she wants to I don't see a problem with it.

Also, if you want to breast feed exclusively- you need to tell the nurses. They have sugar water and forumala in the nursery, so if you don't tell them they will use it... and that stuff is not good for nursing babies.
