opinions please!

Feel free to laugh at me because I could totally be having a crazy preggo moment...BUT I was thinking about names because I haven't really found one I love yet and it hit me. Jack Sparrow. Now I know it's a character from a movie but honestly kids get named worse things, it's not like he's going to always use his middle name, that's something he can choose to do or not. And forget about the whole "kids will mock him for it" because kids will make fun of anything if they are bullies. Like seriously, I have the most normal name ever and got so much shit in school.

So what does everyone think?

well maybe because my name is Jackie, but i looove the name Jack for a little boy! I think its adorable- go for it if u like it!!! I get shit about namiing my son Jude.. i have grown women telling me its a female name. Everyone has there opinions- only yours matters!

i totally dig it...i have a friend named James and his middle name is Dean....its pretty cool

I think its cute! I'm named after someone on a soap opera..lol I got made fun of for my name and it's the most boring/common name in the book. (Ashley Nichole) Name him what you want! kids will be kids either way.

I get shit for my daughters name saying its too complicating  but i'm going to name her it anyways b/c i love it

I'm Jessica Nicole and I used to get made fun of ALL the time. My little cousin is Bradlee Pistol (Bradlee after the lead singer of Sublime and Pistol cause his mom is a huge Sex Pistols fan ) and he's never been made fun of. Granted he's only almost four but most other kids think it's cool.

Kids wont know what their middle name is unless they tell them anyways. I knew a guy named Jack Daniels so its not a big deal to me.

i went thru the same thing and i thought about the same name too. and it was going to be his name for almost a day. i actually like it, it is pretty cool.

Love it! I wish I had thought of it!   I think its fun and cute and who cares. . . Its just a middle name and honestly he doesn't have to use it, most people refuse to tell their middle names anyway. . . Why not make it a good one?

I like it, Go for it if thats what you want. Jack is cute and I personally really like Sparrow and they sound good together. In a few years people probably wouldn't even think of the movie. And like others said, no one has to know his middle name while he's in school unless he wants them to.
