The second one isn't a back carrier. With the first one the baby rides down really low on your back and I know not being able to see what's going on would have driven my daughter crazy! I used to babysit a little boy and his parents had one of those "hiking" backpack carriers that's on a metal frame. He loved riding around in it and I took him on lots of walks that way. I will try and find a similar one.

If you plan to carry the baby on your back at all I'd go with a hiking carrier , for your comfort alone .
like that .

If you plan to front carry the baby I'd go for a sling or wrap - my personal preference is the maya wrap or sewfunky sling .

This one's kind of spendy ($89) but I am sure you could find one cheaper or at a consignment store. The hood is removable too.

Oh ok. Then I would go with the first one. One of my friends had it and she liked it a lot. I personally got a Snuggli for $30 from Walmart and I used it with my daughter all the time, even when she was a newborn. It had great head support

Ok, I have the second one and it is great.
Comfortable for both the carrier and the baby.
I would never buy a sling as I have seen some horror stories about those things. They may be cheap but I really don't think they are the safer option.

Worn properly they are completely safe, they offer more support than almost all front carriers .
And cheap ... I paid neary $150 for my sling .

Mine looked just like this one:

but without the extra strap that goes around the waist. They must have added the strap to this year's model.

Thanks Christie and NonsenseMom !
Slings looks really cute. I like carrier more, I think Baby stay more straight in it... I always think about Baby's back. I have problem with my spine, so always try to think what is better for baby's back.
Also choosing stroller with complitly flat back position, I don't so much when Baby spend long time in carseat.
