1 month old and pregnant again!!!

posted 4th Jul
No, I am not pregnant, but I do have a question about it...
Since I had a c-section...if I would get pregnant this soon would I have to abort it due to medical reasons/not fully healed incision? Could it possibly hurt my body, or tear me open?? I have been wondering this and maybe someone might know???

Haha.. Yea, I wonder if it might be somewhat "high risk" but I've never heard of someone not being able to carry a baby due to c-section, even that soon...

That could cause severe complications for both you and the baby. You're body is not fully healed at 4 weeks after a v-birth. I would assume having your uterus cut open would take a little longer.

I did some looking.. although it is unfavorable to get pregnant that soon after c-section (or vaginal birth for that matter) it's mostly because the mother's nutritional stores are not back to normal.. There may be a small risk of uterine rupture.. And in forums most people say their second pregnancy (happening very soon after c-section) is very painful.

Thanks for researching! I could imagine how painful it would be!

I know! I don't think I felt back to "normal" for like 9 months...

It's advised you wait 9 months to 1 year after a c-section to become pregnant again due to the risk of rupture however slight it may be.
But I know that you can carry successfully soon after a c-section.
