child support (rant)

I apparently have to file for it now. My ex works where I used to work.. thats where we met. I worked there for 5 yrs. I know that he is payed under the table every other week, so, as a courteosy I called my old boss and told her that I have to file for support, and will be telling them he makes 650/wk not 650 every OTHER week and she should start paying him all ont he books so that they don't get in trouble for doing that. (Okay I worked there 5 yrs, longer than he did and he is notoriously late for work and/or doesnt show up doesnt call or anything..)

Well the bitch (sry im LIVID) sat there and defended him to me. TOld ME that IM being ridiculous. That i'll never win any custody thing against him. Etc Etc and said he gets paid under the table only every other week (duh, I know that already) and she was like SURELY u won't get us in trouble for just that?!

Hello, THATS WHY I CALLED. I WAS BEING NICE!! Thats half his income. THats the difference between me getting $207 a month and $557 a month. I dont know what I ever did to that lady. I would report the business to the govfor NOT paying him correctly and then report him for not paying taxes..

I worked at a place that paid me under the table (for about a month) then quit when once the gov got involved and made them start paying taxes. (I didn't want to get in trouble, plus wasn't making enough there).

if the gov doesn't get involved..Unfornately there isn't much you can do to FORCE him to pay you.. My best friend's baby's dad NEVER paid a dime in child support..He worked at jobs that paid him under the table then quit and let his wife support the family so they wouldn't have to pay anything. He continued to get visitation rights even though he never paid her.

you should call her back and call him and record the conversations you have with both of them make sure you get them to talk about him being paid under the table and take the recordings to court with you

Well his mortgage alone is $1200 a month I don't know how he could afford his life making 1300 a month lol I should of thought to tape it though, damnit

It sucks. All I wanted was a happy little family. Its so freakin hard to find a decent person, and now it will be even harder because I TRUST NO ONE with my daughter. He was aboslutely wonderful the first month after she was born. (he broke his foot and couldnt drive so looking back I guess he was basically stuck with us)
Now he's doing drugs drinking all the time disappearing constantly and sueing ME for shared custody.

Life is never fair. But I will do whatever it takes to protect my daughter, I don't want that BS in her life. And actually don't even want his money. I'd be happy with him signing off his rights to her and we'll be on our marry way.

ugh good luck momma. I just watched that video that someone posted of the teenagers pretty much throwing a baby around and shit like that makes me sick to my stomach and I dont trust anyone either. I dont blame you. People in this world are messed up. I refuse to let anyone else watch my daughter.

I really hope and pray everything works out for you. Like someone else said, if you can prove all the bad shit that hes doing then you should have NO problems.

ugh. I refuse to ever take her to daycare or use a babysitter or nanny. I understand that some women they just have to in order to get by, but Id rather starve then let someone I dont know watch my baby. Ive seen too many of those nanny cam videos.BARF

dont stress yourself , stressing yourself will only drive you nuts and for proof all you need is a couple of notarized letters from people who know him like friends or family stating he has an drug issue and stating other reasons why he is unfit
