they said she ways a little over a pound..
but i was reading on some sight at 22 weeks your baby should only be aroun 12 ounces.

can they be wrong about my due date?

they could be a little off on your due date... but more than likely they are wrong about how much your baby weighs. they cant really tell until the baby is here! i know someone that was told she would have a 10 pound baby but he came out weighing 7.

I got my ultrasound at 21w3d -- my baby was right about a pound. I was told that was the correct weight at that time.

12 oz is just an average of what babies should weigh. Some weigh more, some less. Also, Ultrasounds only give an estimate so she could be more or less. Threre are no exacts until baby is born

They're usually not wrong with due dates, after an ultrasounds...Ultrasounds are pretty accurate. You could just have a big healthy baby...

tomorrow ill be 22 weeks. and they never even told me how much my baby weighs..but i was just reading before i saw your post that when you start week 22 it should weigh like 12.25 ounces..and it said at week 23 it should be like almost a pound and by 24 it should be 1.2 pounds.. maybe your baby is either growing fast..or ive heard they can be off by a little bit when they weigh your baby..i dueno then again maybe your on week 24...? that really wasnt much of a help...

When I had my sonogram at 20 weeks, my baby weighed 13 ounces. I thought that sounded a little big for 20 weeks but i guess it could vary.

They are more than likely wrong about the wieght of your baby. I was told that I was having a 10-11 pound baby and when my daughter was born she wieghed 6lbs and 15oz.

I had a ultrasound at 22wk 4 days and both mine were over a pound. One was 1 lb 3 oz and the other was 1 lb 2 oz. Then in 3 weeks, they were both 1 lb 13 oz. The ultrasound might be off a little bit on the weight because it depends on the angle that the baby is at. Plus not every single baby is going to grow at the exact weight that the books say. Some a little more, some a little less. Unless your dr is concerned about their weight, i wouldn't be.

I had an ultrasound at 19 weeks and the told me the baby weighed 10 oz. I've read the norm was only 8 oz. So I don't know. I think it's just an estimate anyway. Your baby won't be enourmous or anything!

In the week-by-week pregnancy book that I have, it says that the average weight at 22 weeks is one pound. But then again, it's just an average. Some weigh more, some weigh less and an ultrasound is only an estimate of weight.
