Well I'm pregnant with Diabetes!!!

I just found out yesterday. Now my doctor wants me to take a stress test every friday morning. Is there anyone who is pregnant with diabetes?? I just want to talk to someone who goin thru their pregnancy with diabetes!

Is it adult onset or gestational? If it is gestational diabetes I can relate to that.

Well the doctors say I'm on the borderline for gestational and regular diebetes.

i have never had regular diabetes but everytime I am pregnant with a girl my gestational diabetes test always comes back with a positive result. I have to take the 3 hour glucose test on thursday which I am not looking forward to sitting at the clinic for 3 whole hours. Gestational always gets kind of interesting though, when my first daughter was born, my doctor wouldn't let me go past 38 1/2 weeks because they thought that she would be at least 11 pounds when she was born, she came out at 6 lbs 9 oz. and perfectly fine. I never have to worry about the whole labor process though because I am always a repeat c-section.

well with my son I had GD.....it was bad too i gained around 90lbs also i found out a bit late at 30 weeks or so and they put me on a STRICT diet and they thought he was going to be like 10lbs but not.....he came out at 7lbs 12oz and perfectly fine with no sugar problems...
this time i have been eating the diet they put me on with my 1st son and ive managed to be GD free and only 6lbs gaines and 32 weeks now.....
just stick to their plans, journal all your food and keep healthy!
also every time i go in they make me take a 1 hour glucose test just to keep sure i dont get it....
