real bad cramps

ok so i am 30weeks pregnant and yesterday and the day before i had to go to the emergency room because of real bad cramps(i thought i was going into labor),so i got there and they monitored the babys heartrate and then took a swab for this test called fetal fibriginogen or something like that...that came back negative for preterm labor and i wasnt having contractions,so the doctor redid a urinalysis and turns out i have a urinary tract infection,he prescribed me macrobid i mean is this medication safe??im really worried it might hurt my baby....also i feel in so much pain because of these cramps like im soon gonna give birth anytime soon,does anybody else feel this way?

and you can get seriously ill

The doctor is not going to give you anything that is going to hurt your baby, or you. You have to trust the doctor that went to school for like 8 years for this kind of thing...

wow are you serious?but yeah i started taking them and i feel much better.

i know i was just worried because one of my family member took some strong antibiotics that the doctor recommended and the baby only lived for a little bit  i guess thats the only reason which i was worried,but i started taking them already and i feel much better.

i've had them since i got pregnant but my doctors never told me anithing
