you know this site does have quite a few teens. mabey its because its an internet forum, and most adults are too busy with jobs and life and their "experience" to be wasting their precious time judging younger people who are all here for the same reason as you. to share their pregnancy news, to learn about all there is to know, and most importantly TOO SUPPORT EACHOTHER. one thing i CAN tell is that even the girls young as 15 are commenting me telling me how cute i look, and how they cant wait to have their child, and how much they learn- so what are all the ladies doing older than 25?? obviously judging those whos life took a little different path than theirs. CONGRATS ON NOT GETTING PREGNANT AT 15! IM SO HAPPY THAT YOUR LIFE IS NOT AS "SAD" AS THOSE WHO HAVE! if your going to sit here and try and SOUND SMART with your statistics, why dont you look up some statistics of abortions and other unproductive aweful things teens are pressured into becuase of older influences that make themfeel as if they are incapeableof loving a child. if it was so sad to you, you would be out here supporting these girls and encouraging them. and onelast thing. DONT EVENSAY WAIT TILL LIFE HITS THEM IN THE BUTT, becuase honestly life has been hittin alot of these younger moms since they were alot younger than you IM SURE OF IT. why do you think they resort to sex or guys- could it be because no they arent all whores and sex feinds. mebey they dont have love or any other means of security. id like to see you walk one year of my child hood then tell me to wait till life hits me. you are ignorant and intolerant and as far as i can see a bad role model. so why dont you go and work on that instead of jusging other moms, cuz guess what your kids get everything from you-so if yourgoing to continue to raise the intolerent children of the world then your not going to help any of the hate or racism or other intolerency problems- and id rather not be a part of your distruct.

I completely agree... I was going to sit here and comment this topic also a couple of days ago but everything I was going to say julie definitely took all the words right out of my life. Just because you are iolder does not make you a better person... did you have sex before you were married? If i had to bet i would definitely bet yes... yes there are some exceptions but it doesnt make you any more of a mother than younger women. Be a support not a hindrance that people want to avoid. Do the world a favor and be more accepting

What is so wrong with that? Instead of bitching about a pregnancy forum, that we teenagers often may need for a little help from those that are older and have experienced these things, maybe you should just go off and cure teen pregnancy if you're so special? Congrats, you made yourself look like an ass.

To anyone whom think most of us ask for this, maybe you should reconsider the possibility that the very teenagers or people for that matter that you are bashing on an online forum, just might be a little bit more mature than you think. OR the possibility that they could have been raped, are living in rough situations, or they are scared and need advice. And that does not pertain to just teenagers that come on here, if I'm not mistaken adults even come on here for advice more often than to gossip about how "bad" pregnant teenagers are or to tell someone how they hate stretchmarks and hormones.

im 26 years old and find that i realate to the teens and what they are going through... im not married to my BD nor are we engaged.... we dated for a little over a year before i found out i was preggers..we dont have the story book relationship and we def dont have a traditional life...i think teens, 20's 30's whatever... we can all help each other and somehow relate to each other. THATs y we are all on one site...

I may only be 16 and pregnant but I still can make educated opinions.
It is not "SAD" that this website consists manly of teenagers because most of us were on summer vacation from school, you know that THING us teenagers do during the summer? Why aren't you at work? You have enough time to critique teen pregnancy?

honestly i don't like people who bah teenage moms, What about these older mothers who prostitute their kids for drugs, and neglect their kids to go party everyday or have drinking problems and abuse their kids? have all of the older mothers on BG forgotten about that. this site is for help obviously WE don't know everything about being mothers just as you don't, if we did would we come o thios site for information. i believe the creator of this site did not intend for it to be so judgemental if that was the case they wouldnt let teens even join te site. The world will always look at teens parents like they are the worst things on this planet and all WE can do is learn from our decisions and make wiser choices. My mom had her first child at 15 and is a wonderful mom with a great casreer nothing has stopped her and guess what she has 8 kids all ny the same father and was married at 18. She didnt judge me when i came in her room and told her thati was pregnant so leav it alone. and the tolerant open-minded pepole on here continue to SUPPORT and GUIDE us we obviously need it thak you.

I totally agree with you and what you are saying.. which in the end will turn the ones being argumenative towards me. This is my first pregnancy for my husband and I and it is nice to see someoneon here where I can turn for advice instead of just hearing from the young unwed teenage moms speaking as if they know everything! If they know everything, then they should have known how not to get themselves into the positions they did.!! How many posts so far said that getting pregnant was an accident! Getting pregnant should not be an accident but a choice. If you didnt want to get pregnant, then use condoms orother forms of birth control. I didnt get pregnant when I was 15, 16, 17, or 18 because I wasnt out having sex. I was hitting the books, traveling around Europe and focusing on other things then getting laid. When I did make the decision to have sex, I protected myself therefore not finding myself with an "accident" 9 months later...

Stick to your opinions, you are not alone in your thoughts. I agree with you completely! I think it is sad however that when one person voices their opinion on here, this place becomes like a lynching mob and goes after that one person. That is the immature mentality I guess. Why cant people have civil mature conversations without the lynch mob coming after them? Everyone is so defensive on here about everything.

Perhaps there should be different areas on this forum where teens who are having an "accident" can go and talk to each other and then places where other mature people can go to talk civily and maturely about their issues. Honeslty, I could care less about what a teenage person to their early 20's tell me about pregnancy, I want to hear from someone who is more mature and knows what they are talking about, someone who is juggling career, family, and a pregnancy not someone who still lives at home with mommy & daddy who got into an "accident" on their summer breaks from highschool and know nothing about paying bills, owning a house, etc. All they know is when can I go hang out withmy friends and party...

You are definately right. Teenagers need the most help during their pregnancies. This is my first child and this site helps me alot although I'm 21 and not a teen but if i was id be glad to know there was something to turn to. And alot of mothers and fathers do preach to their teens about birth control and refraning from having sex but most of the time it doesnt work.
