you know what really pisses me off? The fact that people think Texas and they think slow horse riding dumb asses.

Who said something about texas.. I live in Texas and whenever i meet someone they are like do you have cows and pigs and is there alot of dirt and farm land. WTF not everyone lives in the country. Or they make the comment we are inbreed or something. Its like what you see in the movies is not what Texaas is. And it does show peoples ignorance to the world around them.

Ya I was born in Illinois but the rest of my family is fromthe sticks of kentucky and people acted the same way just because you have a southern accent doesnt make you a dumb hick people are dumb no matter where you live screw whoever pissed you off and the south is the best!

Hey just as many farmers and country living folk live in Michigan as they do in Texas... people are ignorant really. I really wanna visit Texas, or anywhere in the south...I haven't traveled much and I'm gettin right sick of Michigan weather.

This one guys that lived in another country e-mailed me and told me that he was moving to Texas and wanted to know what is was like. He aactually asked me if we had any "real roads" and does anybody drive cars or do we all have horses. Not kidding real e-mail. I was so pissed off. And I hate traveling to some places because of my accent. Because some people always give my a wierd look. So I'm with you. 

Yea and some guy told me that i couldnt be from the south because i dont have a heavy accent. like am i supposed to have the drawn out southern drawl or something.

I KNOW!!!haha the imbreeeding thing is just stupid! everytime i go ot of state everyone is like, so do you ride your horse to the store...and i get the occasional "YEEHHAWWW".....ughhh shoot me.

Wow I had no idea that people were like that. I think Texas and am actually shocke to realize my first thought is a horse ranch oh an one hell of cheeseburger in Brian. In my defense though I have been there and seen the horse and cattle ranches that are scattered everywhere. And I have been to Brian/College Station and had the best cheeseburger EVER!! So yep I have my preconceptions of your state. Sorry! Don't feel bad though people hear that I am from the part of Missouri that starts the Ozarks and think automatically that I have no grammar skills at all and talk like a hick. Not so.

I have also driven through Dallas and Houston and thought that I have never in my life seen so many intersections and bridges and highways. I almost got lost at least 10 times.

HAHAH god i know, everyone can tell im not from around there so bad...the worst was when i went to california and i asked for some sweet tea and they were like....youre from texas arent you? regardless of the way i talk...its just amusing to me....
real roads? come on...everyone is dying to get a sneak peak of our sweet state...jealous folk.

I have gotten a few of those. Its so annoying. I dont even own a horse. now i have raised pigs but i dont own any. and the city i live in i cant own a horse especially on the land we have. you cant have a pig in your backyard. its like yes everyone in Texas rides a horse to the store and to school. and we all wear cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. people never cese(sp) to amaze me.
