My finace's brother was watching my daughter and gave her a bottle ( of breastmilk ) that she stared drinking at 8am and he gave it back to her at 9:30 am. know they say one hour but will this hurt her in anyway????

with that close of a time frame it should be ok as long as they weren't outside or somewhere where the heat could affect the milk.

Not unless it was reheated, it is fine.Of course I wouldn't always do this but she will be just fine mama!

Was it frozen initially? If so, they say only an hour, but I'm doubting an extra half hour made much of a difference. I'm pretty sure they leave some leeway in those guidelines and it's not like the milk instantly goes bad as soon as an hour passes.

If it was fresh from the fridge and never frozen. it is actually good sitting out for up to 10 hours.

I don't think it will hurt her, but I also don't think its a good idea to do on a regular basis.

actually they tell you that if she doesnt drink all of it you can put it back in the fridge and use it again within 24 hours. its on the internet i know for sure its on babytalk.com so you can double check but breastmilk is awesome cuz you cant do that with formula

Breastmilk is okay at room temp for up to 4hrs per a phamplet the hospital gave me. Formula is another story..... its only good for 1 hour after the baby starts drinking it.
