Maybe she can afford it but she is having a financial problem right now...maybe the appt and her monies didn't fall together....

i could only imagine TTC'ers are in a rough spot. i could see how they'd get offended by that remark. i would too. i guess just put yourself on the other side of that comment and ask yourself if you'd possibly get offended. if you decide to ask the question anyway, prepare for the brunt..

the money that she needs is her copay. The actual cost is 500, and they are allowing her to pay 250. I do understand where youare coming from b ut you neve rknow what the underlying situation at hand is. I am tight right now. BUt what someconsider tight is different from others. I panic if my account drops below a 1000. Maybe something came up this payday for them and usually they have the money. RIght now everyone isin a financial burden.And it sucks!

affording gas to go to the lake for fun is one thing, gas to get to work and back another....and you have to remember, TTC for many people is emotionally trying. Her nerves are frayed and it probably sounded as though you were questioning her aility to afford a baby. And you have no right to do that, IMO

but I really thought my post was quite diplomatic. I was accusatory in the least. I only asked a question...and well...from some of the others in this thread you can get a gist for the response.
