idk what to say

posted 3rd Jul
so earlier today my husband and I got into a fight on the phone and to be honest i couldnt even tell you what it was about.... but he told me i was nagging him, stressing him out, and that i needed to get my hormones under control.... so i flipped on him... he acts like i dont have stress and i do... hello?? Im home taking care of our two year old daughter, dealing with bills, trying to handle morning sickness, and trying not to get fired from my job!!! I understand that he's oversea's and not in a very safe place and being shot at eveyday- this too makes me stressed! But if you were me and your husband said this to you, how would you react???

I would probably flip out just like you did. Men just dont get it sometimes. But many times, especially with him being far away, he could be feeling guilty for not being around and being with you. Just remember you love him and both of you are super stressed out.

I'd react the same way then apologize later or before the convo ended I always feel bad about being mad for too long cause you never know what'll happen next.

yeah i apologized bc i know that he's in iraq and anything can happen to him and i dont want to end the convo with something that i will regret for the rest of my life if something happend to him... plus it helps keep his head high.. or in his case low....

All you do is communicate, wether it be arguing or not, I'm facing the same thing. My husband is prepring to deploy on his 3rd tourin Jan. and our stress levels are to the max. We're both going to be 1st time parents, and he's possibly not even going to get to see his baby untill it' s about 6-9 months old. If were lucky my doctor will induce and he'll be able to C it being born. He jumps on my case all the time about crying and hormones., but later we talk about it. instead of screaming about it.   it will be ok. you have people here for you as well.
