The danger of having it is actually dehydration, losing too many fluids.  If you're dehydrated, it can throw off your electrolyte balance and that can kill you.  Take the meds!

Sorry--I thought you were saying that your doc gave you meds, but you still had it (the medicine, like you hadn't taken it yet, so you still had the meds).  Don't just drink water, though--drink something like gatorade or pedialyte.  But it may take a few days to go away, especially if you have a virus of some sort.  You haven't been sick?

I had it really bad from the start of my pregnancy...well, around my 6th week until about 2 weeks ago. There were some instances where I just about didn't make it to the bathroom. I would have it 2-3 times a day. It's slacked off now in my 7th month to where it's only once every couple days. My doc said it was normal. Guess something to do with hormones. Anyway they told me I could take Immodium or Kaopectate. Of course, I had it so bad it just laughed at the meds. LOL He also told me to just drink alot of water especially since summer was coming to keep from being dehydrated.

That sucks--I had it on and off (though nothing like you seem to be having it!), I'd get it every few weeks for a few days.  I can't believe it started with you so early!!!  But fortunately it'll go away after the baby.  Hormones will do some crazy stuff to you...
