Bladder infection or Preeclampsia?

I went to my doc appointment yesterday and they seemed worried since I had protein in my urine and my bP was elevated. It wasn't even high it was 133/60. But I have been having problems with my feet and legs swelling. I was sent to do a urinalysis and I called my doctor today to find out the results but she was in a differnt office and did not have my chart. So I left a message with the on call nurse. Now I dunno what is going on, I have no recieved a callback.
Has anyone had a bladder infection and not have it hurt to pee? I have pressure in my lower abdomen, even kind of like pain like I have not peed in hours and need to. But I go about every 30-min to an hour.
Sorry if this is TMI, but I am worried especially since my bio mom had Toxemia when she had me and I read it increases my chances, also with me being obese and this being my first pregnancy. I am just worried and I hate how I do not get call s back form my doc when I worry like this. Thank you for your opinions/ comments.

My mother had slight toxemia with me too, and I got pre-eclampsia (as well as HELLP Syndrome).. The specialist I am seeing with this pregnancy said that is why and I have a 50-50 chance of getting it again. Anyway, it could be the early stages of pre-eclampsia, but only your dr knows that.. I don't think being obese has anything to do with it. I was at a healthy weight when I got pregnant and was very active through out my pregnancy...

The best thing for you to do would be DRINK DRINK DRINK water..... this way if you do have a potential bladder infection it will help flush some of the stuff. They will give you an antibiotic if it is an infection... did you have a temp? That is one of the first signs of an infection. Your BP is prehypertensive so I don't know if it is potentially toxemia without knowing your previous blood pressures.

do you have a history of high blood pressure? protein in the urine isnt good there shouldnt be any. and yes that does sound like a UTI

I've read a lot of things about pre-eclampsia too.. according to everything that I've read, my chances of getting it should've been slim to none.. There's so much contradicting info out there, who really knows. They don't even know why it happens.. There's 101 theories, but no one really knows..

It never burns when i pee when i have a bladder infection.
I had pre-clampisa and had no signs of it or anything. I had high blood pressure and protine in my pee and they sent me right to the hospital. Plus my feet and face started to swell really bad. and i delievered early. Not to scare you or anything.
If your doctor was that worried trust me you would be in the hostpital right now.

I dunno if it is a symptom or not, but I get light headed and dizzy, and my vision is blurry. It was like that before the doc visit. And I am not sure if the doc is open tomorroe due to it being the 4th. I just want to find out!!
Stressing does nto help either, I easily get anxiety attacks,s ot hat sux. But I did go out today with a friend hwo is due in like 28 days, so that calmed me down a bit. I am hopping it is a bladder infection, but I have more signs of preeclampsia. I noticed before my doc visit too that my face was getting more bloted.

Well I dunno what to do. I mentioned all that to my doc. My next appointment is July 21st. So I hope she lets me know what is going on before that day. She was happy my Diabetes test came back perfect. But I dunno. My husband does not want me to stress, and I am trying not too. I do know though my baby girl is big for her gestation so IF anything happened, she would be fine. She is 4 weeks ahead.

When i was at the hostpital they kept asking me do you have blurry vision or headaches and i didnt have any of those. you might really want to check with your doctor about it because pre clampisa is not a joke.
To tell you the truth, It was really scary thought. They told me i would be staying in the hospital till i delievered and they didnt think i would carry to full term which i didnt. I get stressed easy too. But heres what they do, or at least did with me. They have me on magnisum which relaxes your muscles and prevents you from having seisures, by the way it makes you feel really hot at first and you always feel warmer then usall, and it makes you tired and out of it. I didnt want a foliy in me. those things you pee in, so i just peed in a bedpan the whole time. Yeah it was hard and i almost couldnt do it, and they gave me steroids to mature my baby's legs. I got one shot one day and another the next. The whole time i was there they took my blood two times a day and tested it, For plates count and just to make sure i wasnt getting worse, they do ultra sounds everyday to check on the baby and they montor your blood pressure and your baby's heartbeat and they check for reflexes.
And they will try to keep the baby in as long as possible.untill your body gets really sick. Then they have to take action.

Definitely voice your concerns to your dr.. If they don't feel it's too bad, than they might just put you on bedrest or something.. My dr. neglected a lot of my symptoms, and I really wish I would've spoke up..
