sex after c section

so what are the major risks of having PROTECTED sex after having a c section before you're 6 wks pp?

btw its not that i cant wait, im just curious about whatCOULDhappen if i didnt wait as far as chance of infection etc...

I am curious too.. I just had my c section 9 days ago..

I am not sure about infection but it is the fact that you may not be healed enough inside and you can tear something. Please be careful

You could tear the incision. I waited 5 weeks and it still hurt like a B.

I was told that as soon as you've stopped bleedig and feel comfortable doing it then you can. With my first I have sex at 4 weeks PP

I was worried I waited 6 weeks. It just felt like I was a vergin agian.

I'm 17 days PP from a C-section and I have been wondering the same thing. I think If I don't have sex soon me and my husband are going to split!! LOL. It has been almost a month since we have had any "contact" with eachother and my hormones are on FIRE.

5 weeks pp, i had sex. we obviously used a condom... i took it really slow and went on top to control everything. scott said it was like doing a virgin  lol. it didnt hurt me.
