I FEEL SUCH A BAD MOTHER FOR THIS!

I have a beautiful 11 month old daughter. She is my world.

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with number two.

I found out at 16 weeks that we will be having another girl. A sister for my princess. I am so thrilled.

However, I can't shake this feeling off that I have a son inside me. My heart tells me I am having a boy and the sonographer is wrong.

I would be happy either or, but I just have this feeling that they are wrong.

Am I wrong? Am I a bad mother for still calling my suppose to be a baby girl a son?

It's like I want to be in the percentile that the sonographer is wrong. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

With all this emotion aside, I can't wait to hold my baby and introduce him/her to it sister.

You can nver be 100% sure until the baby is born, now if you give birth to a girl and still feel that way, ... lol but no your fine!!

my mom said she felt that way with my sister she was sure it was a boy and it came out a girl but nothings wrong with you dont worry

you found out really early what your having. I'm pregnant with my second and they don't do sonograms until 24 weeks. I'm doing one around 21 weeks because my husband leaves.. He's in the army... but yeah it could definitely be wrong. that's way to early to try to tell. but just out of curiousity.. why do you think it's a boy?

When I found out I was having a boy I was so dissappionted... When I finally had him all those feelings turned into remorse.. I have never loved as much as I love my Joshua Jr ...

Maybe you could get another ultrasound just to make sure...

I just have this gut feeling it's a boy. HAHA. I don't know. It's intuition I guess.
Even my dreams tells me I havea lil boy. My first pregnancy, I was the same. I knew it was a girl and I dreamt of baby girls. Either or, if it's a sister for my daughter, it will save me tons of money and also they will be close.

you're just going to have to shake the reality that it's probably another girl. my friend has a similar problem. she was told she was having a boy(already has a daughter) and wanted a boy really bad. second sonogram showed it was a girl. but unless she gets another that proves it is in fact a girl, she'll keep guessing until that baby arrives.

you're not a bad mom. and they told you pretty early. You wont knoe 100% until s/he gets here!

i always wanted a girl but never treated my boys any different
i still love them all
i know many will say be lucky you can have kids and its true but i will never feel complete until i have a girl
however 6 boys is enough for me at the mo, being single too lol

well it could be wrong. my cousin was a girl until HE was born.

You aren't a bad mommy.
My mom still thinks that I am having a girl.
You never know until your little one is born!

i had a private scan in the uk by one of the best drs at 12wks, i was told i was having a boy then, i then had a 4d scan at 26wks and yes its a boy, i even have a scan pic of his bits lol

I know someone who had a baby 3 weeks ago. They told her by 3d u/s that she was having a girl. She thought they were wrong they said with the "great technology" they used they couldn't be wrong. But they were. She has a beautiful baby boy. So you never know!

Pay for the 3d so you have time to accept reality if the baby really is a girl.
