Lily first started like rocking around 6 months I think she actually started crawling closer to 7 months. She can stand up now for a couple seconds not holding onto anything and cruises furniture. But she was doing the army crawl/rock thing a while before she crawled. My friends son just learned and he is 9 1/2 months so I think it really just depends. Some babys arent as interested.

you cant make them crawl. who cares if they can crawl and when. some babies dont crawl. just let her figure things out herself. if you help her do everythign hows she ever gonna learn how to do anything. she will figure it out on her own, i promise.

like maybe putting toys out of their reach or something like that, but you cant "teach" then to crawl. ventually she will start doing the things she needs to do in order to crawl. and some babies(like mine) have no interest in it. she could do it, but she has more creative ways of transportation, so i dont force her, i let her get aroudn how she feels necessary.

Paul Jr is 8.5 months and still isn't crawling. He will do the rocking thing so he can reach toys and can get up on all 4's but he falls and then explodes in tears. It is cute and sad at the same time lol.
