Yeah that's why I put "this is not to the OP (opening poster) or anything". I wasn't directing anything at you and I'm not even trying to be negative even. I was just making a statement. I did the"I think I lost my mucus plug" one myself and I probably woulda posted about my water breaking if I didn't work at a doc's office that rushed me out in an ambulance! LoL Nothing against you at all.
Advice for you though: when it's you water it just keeps coming out, it doesn't stop until you have the baby. You "water" which is actually the amniotic fluid around the baby actually replenishes itself, so it won't stop leaking and you can't help it. Like you can't hold it in or keep it from coming out.

And, yes, as other women are telling you, if you're bleeding you should go to L & D anyway whether it's you water or not.

I spotted one time after sex. But there is no reason she should be bleeding. Unless her water broke. Since she got into it with her man, I assume she didn't do the damn thing.

Okay you posted this thread 20 min ago after coming home and getting on here to type it after being out and walking home so how long have you been leaking? And if the dr is calling you on your cell why not start to make your way to L&D I think we are all pretty darn sure you are gonna end up there so get a headstart. FYI if it is your water breaking you are gonna deliver you cant ignore it or get it treated. I believe (maybe wrong but) that is the end of the pregnancy theres no going back or crossing your legs. Unhealthy if you wait too long.

agreed. the baby could be dying right now in fetal distress or something, and here you are going "oooh it might be my water, i'm just gonna go shower and see what happens".

Holy life story to get to the point! Anyway, you don't just have a couple weeks left you have 8 which is very early. You need to just go in if you are spotting and leaking. Good luck.

You can have a leak in your water, you just have to stay on bed rest in the hospital. So they can monitor any infection beginning.
