July 4th!

Did you guys know that kids born on the 4th of July get a bunch of help to go to college from the Government?
My aunt just told me that, my grandpa was actually born on that day, and he did too! I just thought I'd tell you, lol. I think it is quite "cool" lol..........
I guess it doesnt matter if the kid's smart he/she will get scholarships anyhow.

I've also heard from the nurses up in L&D that they dread all holidays b/c it seems like all the women go into labor that day or the week that follows. So that might explain why they were all so blah today LOL!

My bday is july 4th and I would love to get my taxes back anyway possable!! including by letting them pay for my schooling.

Actually, you can get help for college for just about anything really... a friend of mine got a scholarship because she is redheaded, and another because she owns horses!! If you look hard enough they have it for EVERYTHING!!

I got a thing fo ra scholarship just because I was lefthanded. We get them cause we're more likely to survive a heart attack and stroke.

That's some BS! Just cause your kid is born on the 4th they get to go to college for free but if someone actually needs some real help the government is MIA. And how many of our tax dollars go toward this? What if the family is filthy rich? Their child still gets a free ride?

I guess theyre not just gonna offer the stuff to u, u kinda have to ask for it......shit i got a bunch of scholarships for anything tho, 1-for being hispanic lol. 2. for having a 4.1
3. This year for writing some paper on "cultures of america"
which i thought was horrible but hey! it was like 1000 bucks.
so ya u can get scholarships for ANYTHING.

No dude i think it's just the 3.0 + kids that get them
and obviously not EVERYONE takes advantage of "IT" some people dont even know about it.
i dont remember the website that has a list of scholarchips they (companies, states, channels, radio stations, brands) give to kids, but actually anyone CAN get one basically just have a 3.0+

and fuzzy wuzzy i know everywhere you look there is a party that means the week before and the week after every1s outs money from buying fireworks and supplys and the week of every1s busy lol but it would probly b cool getting fireworks on yourbirthday EVERY year! i am born 10 before halloween and i hate having everything black and orange and pumpkins fireworks would be alot cooler lol

lol i always thought by b-day was the best (halloween)when you're little u get to open presents, have a part and go trick or treating.. now, i get to get drunk and go to partys, STILL open presents and have cake.. and scare the F outta little punkass trick or treators.  

i know my friends brother got a scholorship cuz he was black to a expensive highschool(private) and my friend robin has a certian indian in her and she gets half off all her schooling(she is going to college next year i dono if it applys to that)
