Did your Doc. check you yet???? Anything happenng down there.... Nothing going on in my neighborhood..LOL

Im going in next week..at my last appointment they just asked me how im feeling and check the normal stuff... i did call and ask when we start the weeklies and they said at 36 weeks...so i guess thats when they will start checking!

i havent been checked yet, My doc will start checking next week!!! And Im really hoping something is happening down there.. im so ready to pop this kid out!!

depends on your doc. My doc is checking me when i'm 36weeks. which is 2 1/2 weeks from now.

Hmmmm. I'm high risk and will be induced if I make it to 39 weeks. So I wonder if they'll check earlier than that. They haven't mentioned anything yet so we'll see.

i'm high risk too, i'm being induced at 39weeks as well but my doc is going to start checking me for dilation at 36weeks.

i have Gestational diabetes(take insulin shots 3 times a day) & I have severe asthma. Yourself?

I have a blood clotting disorder where it clots too easily so I'm with ya on the shots thing, but only once a day to keep my blood from clotting. You are one tough cookie to have to do shots 3 times a day :-/

They checked me a week ago and nothing! But I went to the docotor today for a sonogram and almost had a heartattack when they told me she weighs 5 lbs 13 ozs!!!!!!!!! I have ges. diabetes so I knew she would be a little bigger than normal but i'm only 33 weeks!!! Craziness! Anyone else know how much their munchkin weighs??

OMG! You've almost got a 6 pounder on your hands (or rather, in your belly lol). That is crazy!

I have a sonogram on July 9th to determine weight, because I am measuring big by like 5 weeks. I'm kind of worried. I hope that everything is ok! I don't have gestational diabetes, so I don't know why he's so big!

My doctor hasn't checked me for dialation, yet. I'm curious to know when she will. I'll ask her on the 9th. I'm definitely not looking forward to getting checked :-/ I don't want a whole arm stuck up my vajayjay. lol.

I went to the doc today and he said they start checking at 36 weeks for dialation. But I had a scare last tuesday and went to labor and delivery where they checked and I wasn't dialated AT ALL!The doctor also checked on the weight and position and my daughter weighed 5 lbs 3 oz and was in the correct position for coming out.Iam 34 weeks4 days as of today and am currently not high risk but diabetes and high blood pressure run in my family.

I'm high risk too because I'm 35 and I smoke ....mine weighs 4 lbs13 oz as of today and I'm almost 35 weeks so he's doin fine but he's breech and has been for at least the last two months consistently in the same position....they said they are more likely not to flip over if they are consistently in the same position for awhile like he is...so its lookin like a c section for me....anyone else had a frank breech at 35 weeks that ended up flipping over?and theyre not checkin me yet either 36 weeks is what they said here

I'm currently stationed in Germany and I kid you not, they've been checking me every appt since about 20 weeks or so (may have even been earlier). I went in this past Tues bc on Sun I was having REALLY bad contractions that would NOT go away and I wanted to see what was going on. She would not check me at that point bc she said it didn't matter. Over here you can have a baby at 34 weeks (I was 33 and 5 days- close enough in her opinion) and it's perfectly normal so I could have her anyday now and no one around here would stop me!!! Not like the states where I was stopped at 37 weeks and told to come back in 1. I have my appt on Mon to be registered at the hospital and I'm told they check you there also. Guess I will see what's going on then.
