this is not drama i actually would like to know when you start going every week and when they start doing the cervix check? im 35weeks and my doc said she is going to start chacking me naxt appt which is next week i was just wondering if she is checking early?

My dr checked me today and I am 36 weeks.

didnt you already make a post like this? Anyway 36weeks is when my doc will start checking my for dilation. It just depends on teh doc.

I wasn't checked till 38 weeks

i was under them impression that after 35 weeks you start going to weekly appts. ive been going bi-weekly for a while now.. by next appt is my 35 weeks and so im assuming at that one they will start to tell me to come back weekly! yay. its getting so close!

I started bi-weekly appts at 32 weeks, moved to weekly appts at 35 weeks and my doc checks for dilation at 38 weeks, which is my next appt. Every doc has their own timing && schedule, but I don't think you're particularly early to be checked...I kinda wish my doc would have checked by now, just b/c I'm gonna be upset if I go to my 38 week appt && I have no dilation or effacement. I wish I he would have started checking so each week I could know if I'm slowly progressing or quickly or whatever. I mean if he tells be I'm 4cm, who knows if I've been 4cm for a day or 3 weeks already, ya know?
